Ashtavinayak – Jejuri (2N/3D)

In Ashtavinayak Darshan Yatra we visit eight different Hindu temples around Pune, Maharashtra. It covers eight ancient holy temples of Lord Ganesh, these temples have their own history, and legend, the only differing part being the statues (Murtis) in each temple and their locations.

Jejuri is a place mainly famous for the temple of Lord Khandoba. The town is known for being the venue of one of the revered temples in the state, known as the Khandobachi Jejuri (खंडोबाची जेजुरी). The temple is dedicated to Khandoba, also known as Mhalsakant (म्हाळसाकांत) or Malhari Martand (मल्हारी मार्तंड) . Khandoba is regarded as the 'God of Jejuri' and is held in great reverence by the Dhangars (धनगर), one of the oldest tribes in India.

Tour Details:

Day 1: Mumbai: Depart to Mahad

  • Darshan of Shree Varadvinayak at Mahad and Proceed to Pali.
  • Darshan of Shree Ballaleshwar at Pali and Proceed to Lenyadri.
  • Darshan of Shree Girijatmak at Lenyadri and Stay in Lenyadri (Pune)

Day 2: Lenyadri: Proceed to Ozar.

  • Darshan of Shree Vighneshwar at Ozar and Proceed to Ranjangaon
  • Darshan of Shree Mahaganpati at Ranjangaon and Proceed to Siddhatek.
  • Darshan of Shree Siddhivinayak at Siddhatek and Proceed to Jejuri
  • Darshan of Khandoba and stay in Jejuri

Day 3: Jejuri: Proceed to Morgaon.

  • Darshan of Shree Moreshwar Proceed to Theur.
  • Darshan of Shree Chintamani and Return to Mumbai.

Tour Ends

Bus journey:All journey by 2 x 1 A/C or Non A/C bus.

Stay: All nights will be in "A Grade" hotel.

Food: Five delicious meals (3 Lunch, 2 Dinner), each meal includes sweet dish. Breakfast on all mornings, Including tea and coffee.
